Position: PROJECT MANAGER, Toronto Reporting to: LEAD STRATEGISTS AND PARTNERS

Purpose: To meet client expectations on large, complex projects by combining strong insights with new ideas through great project management.

Responsibilities

• Manage client projects using superior client service, insights, strategic thinking and innovation
• Develop, plan, budget for and manage the project critical path
• Manage the project to meet client quality and specification standards
• Facilitate the timely flow of information within the project team, the company and to/from the client
• Continually identify potential areas of increased effectiveness, efficiency and client value
• Document and report all project activities
• Identifying potential opportunities for new projects with existing clients
Experience and skills (5+ years)
• Entrepreneurial; insightful; self-sufficient
• Proven project management capability
• Strong discovery and listening skills
• Excellent presentation and writing skills
• Ability to work in a truly collaborative, non-political, “family feel” team environment
• Excellent planning and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and quality service
• Ability to work accurately under tight deadlines
• Strong problem-solving skills including a comfort with research

• Strong budget and critical path management skills
• Proficient computer skills

Other desirable experience

• Knowledge and experience in areas related to engaging youth young adults and young families
• Knowledge and experience in areas of Marketing (consumer), HR (employee) and/or Public Affairs/ Government/ Not-for-profit (citizen)
• Other languages besides English desirable
• International work experience
• A desire to work in a small company with big goals
